At The Fair

The 2017 Western Carolina State Fair (WCSF) opens this year on Friday, Oct. 20 with 10 fun-filled days of thrills and excitement at the Western Carolina State Fairgrounds on U.S. Hwy. 1 in Aiken, SC. This year, the fair opens with country artist “William Michael Morgan” in the Bridgestone Arena, and the best part is, the concert is FREE with your paid admission to the fair.

Back by popular demand is the advance “Mega Pass,” your ticket to great savings and an unforgettable day at the fair. An advance Mega Pass ($25) is your ticket to unlimited rides (you pick your day to ride and save). Admission to the fair is included with your advance Mega Pass. The advance Mega Pass $25 and advance Gate Pass $6 are on sale on our website and the Mega Passes are also available at several area locations around the CSRA. They will be available for purchase through Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017.  

Daily attractions this year will include the Kachunga- Alligator Show, Hypnotist Mark Yukosik, the Agri-Puppets and Mark Dobson’s One Man Band. Hang on to your seats when the Demolition Derby shakes the ground on Thursday, Oct. 26 at 7:00 pm with the Demolition Finals on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 7:00 pm. You will not want to miss out on this year’s Demo Derby action. USCA Baseball Bull Riding returns on Sunday, October 22 at 4:00 pm and Tuesday, October 24 at 7:00 pm. All entertainment is FREE with your paid admission to the fair. Check the fair schedule for show times and other events being held at the Western Carolina State Fair.

Reithoffer Shows returns in 2017 and will provide all your favorite rides including the return of the Tango, Vertigo, Tornado, Freak Out, Arctic Blast, and the ever popular Kiddy Land with lots of rides and attractions for the kids. Don’t forget the great fair food. The exhibit buildings will be open each day filled with arts, crafts, horticulture and commercial exhibits from around the CSRA.
