2016 Western Carolina State Fair

The 2016 Western Carolina State Fair (WCSF) opens Thursday, Oct. 20 with 10 fun-filled days of thrills and excitement at the Western Carolina State Fairgrounds, U.S. Hwy. #1, Aiken, SC. This year the fair opens with Breast Cancer Awareness Day with Half Price Gate Admission if you wear pink. Friday Night October 21 at 7:00 pm and Sunday Afternoon October 23 at 4:00 pm, enjoy USCA Pro Bull Riding in the Bridgestone Arena, and its FREE with your paid admission to the fair. Back by popular demand is the advance “Mega Pass,” your ticket to great savings and an unforgettable day at the fair. An advance Mega Pass ($25) is your ticket to unlimited rides (you pick your day to ride and save). Admission to the fair is included with your advance Mega Pass. The advance Mega Pass for only $25 are on sale now at various locations throughout the CSRA and will be available for purchase through Wednesday, Oct. 19. Daily attractions this year will include the Sea Lion Splash, Ackmonster’s Chainsaw Art, Hypnotist Mark Yuzuik in the Allstar Events Community Pavilion. Hang on to your seats when the Demolition Derby shakes the ground on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7:00 pm with the Demolition Finals on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 7:00 pm. You will not want to miss out on this year’s Demo Derby action. All entertainment is FREE with your paid admission to the fair. Check the fair schedule for show times and contests being held at the Western Carolina State Fair. Reithoffer Shows returns in 2016 and will provide all your favorite rides. Favorites this year include the Vertigo, Tornado, Freak Out, Artic Blast, and the ever popular Kiddy Land with lots of rides and attractions for the kids. Don’t forget the great fair food. The exhibit buildings will be open each day filled with arts, crafts, horticulture and commercial exhibits from around the CSRA.
